Our experience with Garry at GCM was excellent. His knowledge of the cars on sale and candid assessment of their strengths and weaknesses was very much appreciated. There were no pressure-sell tactics used and we were able to take the car for a decent test drive, explore a number of cars inside and out and were even treated to a very decent cup of tea and coffee. We felt no pressure whatsoever, given plenty of space and time to look at our car but was also available for any questions. Garry went out of his way to call well out of normal work hours to answer questions and help out, that kind of customer service really is a credit to his business. You can tell he cares about his cars and customers. We had a very slight issue with the car and Garry has been so helpful and is in the process of getting it put right for us with no quibble or messing around.

Car selling the way it should be done!

We really couldn't be more pleased with our decision to purchase our lovely BMW 320D from Garry at GCM. The car we ended up buying was fairly far down our shortlist but as I was in the area I went to have a look...I'm very glad I did! From the warm greeting, no-pressure approach, and beautifully presented and well-priced cars on display, it was clear GCM is a small dealership sitting head and shoulders above its bigger rivals. Garry made me feel welcome from the very start, he was very transparent in the way he ran his business and didn't hold back when you had questions, (I had just had a very bad experience from another garage so this put me at ease) he offered refreshments the moment I walked into the garage and again after my test drive, he made the whole process very easy to understand. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars, but I'd give 10 out of 5 if I could, I messaged Garry on a Saturday, received a prompt reply, he even managed to arrange a viewing test drive for me on a Sunday morning, very nice man, no pressure from him at all, great priced cars, wish I had more money haha, went home and messaged Garry to say I would like to buy the car but I was busy all next week and he came out to his garage and did the deal on a Sunday night. Having spent several weeks looking for a replacement estate car, and viewing dealers in Barnstaple and Marsh Barton areas without any success and getting frustrated with disinterested sales staff. It was so refreshing when I made the call (via Autotrader) to GCM to be answered by Garry, someone who was enthusiastic and actually wanted to sell me a car and give me good service too. The car was as described in a spotless condition and with all the knobs and whistle's I wanted. Also, the coffee was pretty good too. With paperwork done and money paid I drove it straight home. His description of the car on the website was very accurate and was certainly the best of this particular model of car that I had viewed previously. Coffee he made us was very good gave us that personal touch. All in all very impressed and would definitely recommend 1000%

After chatting with Garry over the phone I decided to make the 150 mile journey for my new car. On arrival I was greeted with a smile and a coffee. I purchased a car from GCM and was delighted with the service. I had a small hiccup after a couple of weeks but was directed to contact their workshops and was given a courtesy car and everything was sorted within a couple of hours free of charge. Great Experience

Well to start I asked Garry to hold the Kia for me and he sorted that out. By time i travelled down to Devon from South wales i felt as if i knew him as he messaged me regularly. Fantastic experience

I purchased a car from over 250 miles away. I called Garry and he gave me an accurate description over the phone. Paid a deposit and made the journey. On arrival it was raining but the car was undercover in a large garage with brilliant lighting. I was delighted! The car was gleaming and in better condition than any other I have viewed by a long way. Gary was extremely easy to deal with and even booked me a table for lunch at a local pub. Garry was fantastic! Very helpful and easy to talk to about the car we were interested in. A short time after we bought the car it flashed up a warning light. I contacted Garry straight away and he talked us through what to do as we also had a warranty. It turned out to be quite a serious problem but Garry took care of everything including finding a specialist garage and dealing with the warranty company. He also covered all additional costs that weren't covered by the warranty. I couldn't have asked for better after sales care. I would highly recommend to all and would happily buy from Garry again in the future.
